Every day, illiteracy affects over 775 million people around the world, English as a Second Language (“ESL”) is in universal demand as there are at least 5.1 million ESL students every year and General Equivalency Diploma needs are rising as the high school drop-out rate increases and 750,000 high schoolers drop out every year. Project Light is a non-profit organization dedicated to help those in need by providing churches, missionaries, faith-based and community-based organizations and individuals with proven programs to meet literacy, ESL and GED needs. Since 1979, hundreds of Project Light Learning Centers have been established across the United States and countries across the globe.

Reading Readiness

This software program consists of visual material that progressively introduces the student to vocabulary, language principals, concepts and basic sentence structure. The student interacts with the software in order to move through each lesson. There are 374 lessons at five different levels.
